The idea of establishing the RAFTIS came from the importance of Russian- Arab relations in general and the promising prospects for improving economic and trade relations between them. The available and unexplored trade opportunities from both sides make it important to have competent and effective orginzations that pay attention to the introducing and promotion of these opportunities.

Despite the positive development of Russian-Arab trade relations in the past ten years, especially between Russia and the GCC countries, we believe that these relations are still below the desired level.

Exerting more efforts and contributing to introducing the trade and investment opportunities of these markets would increase trade and investment exchange and raise trade and economic relations to the level of historical relations between them.
